The Ham Air
The general focus for this board was one reason. A performance shorty that holds on rail, but creates the perfect platform for big airs. Based on our standard shortboard the Ham 2.0. We lowered the entry rocker just a touch, widened the nose quite a bit the liven up the speed box under your front foot, and added a little tail kick to get that “Click” off the tail right before you hit the lip. This is a shortboard for ramps. Again the goal was get in early, get there fast and send it. With enough of a crash pad up front to stomp some. After it was all sent and done one thing we also really love about this board is it makes a really great average waves board as well for those looking for a little more foam under the chest. This board has a lot more foam up front with a wider plan shape. Those elements go hand in hand with big controlled airs, and paddle speed with ease of use. So don’t think because your not an air guy this board isnt for you, we actually build most of these boards for people looking to go shorter wider thicker than their traditional Ham 2.0. So if your looking for more volume and not quite up for a total pig, or really just want to work on punts, this board is great. Stock average dimension 5-7 x 19 x 2 1/4 @ 26liters.
